1、Passenger ships: Passenger ships are ships specialized in transporting passengers and the baggage and mails they carry, mostly sailing on regular scheduled routes.
2、Cargo ships: ships mainly carrying cargoes and carrying less than 12 passengers, such as oil tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, etc.
3, engineering ship: engineering ship is specialized in some kind of water or underwater engineering ship. It is equipped with a complete set of work machinery to complete specific tasks, such as waterway assurance, port operations, water conservancy construction, marine construction, rescue and salvage.
4, fishing vessels: fishing vessels are used to capture and harvest aquatic plants and animals of the ship. Also includes modern fishing production of some auxiliary vessels, such as aquatic products processing, transportation, aquaculture, resource surveys, fisheries guidance and training, as well as the implementation of the fisheries task of the ship.
5, speedboats: speedboats are mainly used for water recreation, or rowing competition vessels. Speedboat tonnage is small, high speed, maneuverability, displacement is usually tens of tons to hundreds of tons, sailing speed 30 to 40 knots, some up to 50 knots, range 500-3000 nautical miles.
